About This Design
This design is inspired by an 18th-century Japanese floral screen by Watanabe Shiko (1683–1755), from the Rinpa school. Gold accents enhance its rich, romantic feel. Rinpa is a traditional painting school known for screens, fans, and kimono textiles. The floral motifs follow the Japanese flower language (Hanakotoba), conveying emotions without words.
