Its romantic and fresh patterns are inspired by the colours and fragrances of an English cottage garden, creating a design that feels both elegant and naturally harmonious. The floral motif is a refined interpretation of the brand’s 19th-century hand chasing technique. English roses, with their buds and leaves, gracefully wrap around the barrel in a flowing composition reminiscent of an English country dance. The name Mayflower carries deep historical significance. It refers both to the rose found in traditional English gardens—including those of James Watt, a central figure of the Industrial Revolution—and to the iconic ship that carried the first pilgrims across the Atlantic, symbolising the brand’s global reach today.
