The Conway Stewart Churchill Heritage “Their Finest Hour” is the sixth creation in the second Churchill Heritage series, celebrating the words and legacy of Sir Winston Churchill. Its name comes from his historic speech to the House of Commons on 18 June 1940, delivered as Britain prepared for the Battle of Britain, and remains one of his most powerful expressions of courage and determination.

Made in Great Britain, the pen is presented in a rich, lustrous Bordeaux finish with 9ct gold rings and an 18ct gold fountain pen nib. The barrel is engraved with the words “THEIR FINEST HOUR”, followed by Winston S. Churchill’s signature and “Made in Great Britain”. The wide 9ct gold cap band is struck with official British Hallmarks certifying the precious metal.

The top of the cap features the iconic engraved “Pug”, inspired by a small sketch Churchill drew on a letter to his wife Clementine in 1909.

This exceptional edition is strictly limited to only 100 individually numbered pens worldwide. Each edition number is engraved on the end of the barrel and recorded on the accompanying certificate.

Every pen is presented in a replica of Winston Churchill’s famous red ministerial despatch box. The presentation set also includes a copy of Winston Churchill: Blood, Toil, Tears and Sweat — The Great Speeches, a bottle of green ink, a facsimile of Churchill’s handwritten 1909 letter to Clementine, a certificate of authenticity and a leaflet explaining the history of British Hallmarks.

The fountain pen features a dual filling system. It is supplied with a converter for use with bottled ink, which can also be removed to accept standard European ink cartridges. Two complimentary cartridges are included so the pen can be used immediately.

A significant percentage of every pen sold is donated to Churchill Heritage, supporting educational initiatives and events dedicated to preserving the legacy, memory and words of Sir Winston Churchill for future generations.
