The Conklin 1898 Limited Edition Spectra Fusion Green fountain pen with Chrome Trim represents an impressive combination of traditional American craftsmanship and modern materials technology. The Spectra Fusion collection celebrates the beauty of natural wood through an innovative stabilization process that combines it with coloured epoxy resin.

The barrel is crafted from natural maple burl, which undergoes a specialized stabilization process using epoxy resin. The resin penetrates deep into the wood fibres, significantly enhancing resistance to moisture, warping, and cracking while preserving and highlighting the wood's distinctive natural grain. The rich green resin creates striking colour variations, blending emerald and forest green tones with the natural warmth of the wood. Each pen features a unique pattern, as no two pieces of wood are exactly alike.

The design preserves the signature features of the historic Conklin 1898 collection: its classic cigar-shaped profile, finely engraved cap band, and distinctive crescent-shaped clip, inspired by the company's historic Crescent-Filler™ technology. The polished chrome-plated accents provide an elegant contrast to the green and brown finish.

The pen is fitted with a German-made JoWo No. 6 stainless steel nib, delivering smooth and consistent ink flow. It is available in six nib sizes: Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Stub 1.1 mm, and Omniflex.

The filling system accepts Standard International ink cartridges and includes a threaded converter for use with bottled fountain pen ink. This limited edition is restricted to just 1,898 individually numbered pieces worldwide per colour and is presented in a luxurious Conklin gift box with a custom-designed sleeve.
