The Opus 88 Bela is an imposing fountain pen distinguished by its strongly curved silhouette and generously proportioned design. Crafted from acrylic resin, both the barrel and cap are accented by elegant ivory-coloured rings that give the pen a distinctive and refined visual identity.

The Bela features Opus 88\'s signature Japanese-style eyedropper filling system, offering an impressive ink capacity of approximately 3.5 ml. A glass eyedropper is included for convenient filling, while a transparent ink window near the lower section of the barrel allows the remaining ink level to be checked at a glance.

An integrated shut-off valve controls the flow of ink from the main reservoir to the nib. During extended writing sessions, the end knob can be loosened slightly to allow continuous ink flow. When fully closed, the valve isolates the main ink chamber, providing additional security while carrying or transporting the pen.

The Bela\'s substantial curved body gives it a reassuring presence in the hand, while the threaded cap and robust black clip reinforce its practical construction. It is fitted with an engraved Bock #250 stainless-steel nib, complementing the pen\'s generous ink capacity with dependable writing performance.
