The Opus 88 Fantasia is a compact fountain pen with a distinctive personality and a playful yet sophisticated approach to design. Its translucent resin barrel is paired with an ebonite cap decorated with colourful rings, creating a unique visual identity within the Opus 88 collection.

Despite its compact dimensions, the Fantasia retains the functionality for which Opus 88 is known. It features the brand\'s Japanese-style eyedropper filling system with an ink capacity of approximately 1.9 ml, providing considerably more autonomy than many conventionally filled fountain pens. A glass eyedropper is included for convenient filling.

An integrated shut-off valve controls the flow of ink from the main reservoir to the nib. During longer writing sessions, the end knob can be loosened slightly to allow continuous ink flow. When fully closed, the valve isolates the main ink chamber, providing additional security while the pen is being carried or transported.

The ebonite cap and colourful decorative rings give the Fantasia much of its distinctive charm, while the strong chrome-plated clip adds a clean metallic accent. The threaded cap ensures a secure closure and complements the pen\'s practical construction.

The Fantasia is fitted with an engraved JoWo #5 stainless-steel nib, appropriately proportioned to its more compact dimensions and designed to deliver a smooth, dependable writing experience.
