Retro 1951 P-47 Thunderbolt VRF-2247 Fountain pen
The Retro51 P-47 Thunderbolt is now cleared for takeoff in the Vintage Metalsmith series. This warbird fountain pen is inspired by the most popular U.S. fighter aircraft of World War II, with more than 15,000 units produced. Renowned for its heavy artillery, the P-47 excelled in both air-to-air combat and ground attack missions. Its rugged construction allowed it to endure significant battle damage while remaining airworthy.
The Tornado captures the spirit of the P-47 with acid-etched rivets and paneling along the barrel, finished in a striking red, yellow, and green color scheme. It proudly features the nose art of the 352nd Fighter Group’s P-47 nicknamed “Dallas Blonde,” complemented by antique silver trims and a matching checkered finial. Take command of your writing and prepare for your next mission.
